Volunteer With Us
Our volunteers are at the heart of all we do. Last year we helped over 5,000 local people to access the help they needed. We dealt with over 12,500 issues and covered a broad spectrum of advice needs. The vast majority of this help was provided by our 70-strong team of dedicated volunteer advisers and assessors, without whom we could not run the service.
Volunteering for us is really rewarding as you make a real difference to those who are in need across our community.
Citizens Advice East Devon is an independent local charity providing free, independent and confidential advice across East Devon.
We are a small, diverse friendly team of like-minded individuals from all backgrounds. We enjoy helping and out team enjoys working together.
We usually provide face-to-face sessions for members of the public to talk through their problems. We have a team of trained advisers, most of whom are volunteers from the local community. Due to COVID most of our advice is online at the moment.
