Work with Us

Helping people is what we do and at the heart of our culture. Last year we helped over 5,000 local people to access the help they needed, we dealt with over 12,500 issues and covered a broad spectrum of advice needs. The vast majority of this help was provided by our 70-strong team of dedicated volunteer advisers and assessors (without whom we could not run the service) and our dedicated friendly staff team.

Team Leader - responsibility for Quality of Advice and Service Delivery

**WE NEED A TEAM LEADER**

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking team leader who will support all of our staff and volunteers delivering the best support and advice across East Devon. If you have worked or volunteered for Citizens Advice before that would be great. What you will need is a real desire to help people. The hours will not be Monday to Friday 9-5 and you will be available to fit in when your team most needs the support.

We need exceptional organisational skills and you will need to be very good at communicating with people – face to face, on the phone, email and online chat. Helping the team find solutions to difficult situations and sometimes explaining to clients that the help they are seeking just does not exist, it will be a challenging role but one that ultimately can be very rewarding. Entry salary is £22,022 but we can pay more for experience and expertise.
